Yoga is done conveniently and comfortably when Bikram Yoga clothing is worn. Though it may not be important, it still gives a pleasant feeling. Wearing Yoga clothes will prevent you from feeling restricted. Loose clothing is comfortable for movement.

Bikram Yoga CLOTHING FOR MEN – Shorts without pockets is preferred as its better not to carry anything while doing yoga.  Wear cotton shirts that are lightweight and absorb moisture from the body. They should not be too tight. The clothing should satisfy 3 components – breathable fabrics, comfort, and versatility. Sustainable materials like organic cotton and other eco source product like bamboo, soy are also used. Pants are not recommended to wear during yoga as it does not allow the generated heat to go outside and does not oxygenate the body. Thus minimum clothes are preferred.  Bikram’s yoga makes use of heat so shorts are preferred.

Bikram Yoga Clothing For Women – Try to bring out your character, for example a nature lover may want clothes with flowers printed all over it. Choose your yoga clothes very carefully as it reflects one’s personality. You must like what you wear as it increases self confidence and adds to ease of practicing yoga. Tank tops, leotards, unitards, shorts are mostly preferred clothing for women. T shirts are not recommended as they interrupt the perfection of poses.

In addition to clothing, individuals should bring water bottle as the room is maintained at temperature of 40.5 degree Celsius. They should also bring a towel to cover the yoga mat and a small towel to wipe the face.
